Beautiful Spring Days

Jess and Shawn moved to Milton 3.5 years ago, and the first time they had ever heard of Hopkins was driving by the dairy farm and stopping to enjoy some iconic ice cream. Which they also decided to have at their wedding! Because who doesn’t love ice cream?
Their guest count started out pretty high, so they originally toured the Covered Bridge first, but ended up lowering their guest count and booked Honey Bee instead!
They choose an early April date which gave their guests the opportunity to stay in Dewey and experience the coastal beach town that we all know and love before the summer chaos started!
Once Jess and Shawn finally committed to Hopkins Heartland the critical planning items were easily completed by utilizing our preferred vendor list. After they selected their vendors they were able to get into the fun aspects of planning, allowing their vision to come to life!
They didn’t have a wedding planner throughout the wedding process, but our staff plus Retros’ was a huge help in ensuring the day went smoothly!
“The biggest stressor we had was not hiring a florist, we did our flowers ourselves. We had a lot of help from the maid of honor which made that process easier!”
Thank goodness for Maid of Honors and beautiful Spring days!
