What began as a B&B developed fatefully into Hopkins Heartland, a breathtaking wedding venue, with genuine values of welcome, acceptance, and service the moment you arrive.

"There is not a single thing my husband and I would change about our wedding weekend and we have the wonderful Hopkins Heartland Crew (and our vendors) to thank for that."
I love sharing our family farm with guests from every walk of life. I returned home after 2 decades in the field of Veterinary Nursing and Horse training to restore the family’s 200 year old farmhouse into a B&B.
I found my groove as an Innkeeper and realized that I connect with people just as well as animals. The progression to weddings was destined, with the Farmhouse providing the perfect accessory to a farm wedding. As a hopeless romantic and unwavering people pleaser, my role as venue owner was solidified.
I am beyond blessed to have the opportunity to preserve my family's historic barns and homes, and I am the luckiest person on the planet to be surrounded by the BEST team any wedding venue could dream of.
I am here to carry on the legacy of Hopkins.
Our beliefs of farmland preservation & forging families is coupled with unequalled work & business ethics. We are custodians of a legacy, working together with every couple, becoming part of something larger. Dairy farming in DE will live on forever, one wedding at a time. .
