Indian American Showstopper Weekend

Manisha and Josh, our very first Indian American Wedding here at Hopkins Heartland and it was every bit as beautiful as the two of them. We enjoyed this weekend so much. We learned, we cheered, and we watched in awe as two people with two different heritages joined together as one.

The wedding weekend was perfect for this couple. They checked in on Thursday and were able to start setting up for their Indian ceremony on Friday which took place in our “backyard” area on the farm. They transformed this area to be a gorgeous and serene space that their photographer, Stacy Hart, captured perfectly.

Manisha was breathtaking in a bright red and gold Lehenga with their bridal party complementing both her and Josh in red and gold traditional Indian attire.

After this ceremony, we watched as the bridge and barn transitioned for the Saturday American ceremony and reception, which was just as stunning. They brought in softer colors of pinks and white for this ceremony contrasting the bolder colors that were used in the Indian ceremony.

Manisha and Josh were every bit excited as they were the day before. That was the beauty of this couple, their love and joy that poured from them all weekend was inspiring.
