Brittany and Josh were our last couple to book before our world was flipped upside down with the pandemic. It didn’t deter their wedding planning or their beautiful spirits one bit! Here we are, more than a year later and this couple and their family and friends filled our Barn with all the love and springtime color explosion.

Their adorable story:

Josh and Brittany met on the school bus in the 6th grade. Yes, you read that right, the 6th grade!! However, they didn’t really get to know one another until their senior year when Josh found Brittany on the dancefloor during their homecoming dance and they spent the whole night talking, dancing, and laughing. How many people can say they met their husband in middle school? Not many, and that is what makes these two so special.

In 2018 the ALL-OUT proposal happened while vacationing in Cancun. He had rose petals leading to their room and inside waiting on the bed were rose petals that spelled out the words “Marry Me?” *swoon*

We love asking our couples what they are looking forward to most on their wedding day. Every couple always has something different to say. Brittany and Josh couldn’t wait for their first look. In Brittany’s words “We were both just so excited to see one another and it’s so important to us to have moments of the day that are just for us to enjoy and think about how far we’ve come!”

Right before this Brittany grabbed Josh’s butt and that was his signal to turn around.

True Story

Their biggest piece of advice to other couples planning a wedding is to not get overwhelmed, and if you feel like you are- step back and take a break. Wedding planning is supposed to be fun and enjoyable, don’t forget that.
