Victoria & Jonathan’s wedding day was the perfect mix of heartfelt, fun, cozy, and absolutely beautiful from beginning to end. They started the day with a sweet ceremony at a local church surrounded by family and friends before heading back to Honey Bee to celebrate the night on the farm.
One of our favorite little full-circle moments from the day was seeing one of our favorite photographers, Jonathan Allen, standing beside the groom as Best Man instead of behind the camera for once. We’re so used to seeing him capture everyone else’s big moments, so getting to watch him simply enjoy the day with his friends was really special.
Of course, with Jonathan in the wedding party, that meant another incredibly talented photographer had the honor of capturing the day and Danny Bostwick absolutely delivered.
Every photo feels warm, emotional, joyful, and so full of life. From the romantic moments to the dance floor chaos (the best kind!), he documented the day so beautifully.
And then there was the sunset…
If you know Hopkins Heartland, you know our sunsets are kind of a big deal, but this one may have outdone itself. The warm golden light across the fields created the dreamiest backdrop for Victoria & Jonathan’s portraits, and the results were absolutely stunning.
Guests spent the evening celebrating inside Honey Bee while enjoying delicious Hopkins ice cream (which is always a crowd favorite), dancing the night away, and soaking in all the cozy fall wedding magic. Between the warm glow of the reception space, the laughter from every corner, and the love Vitoria and Jonathan clearly share, the entire night just felt so happy.
Victoria & Jonathan — thank you for letting us be part of such an unforgettable day. We loved every second of celebrating with you two, and we’re still not over those sunset photos.
