Our number one question is always, “what happens if it rains?”
Well, Lindsey and Stephen’s wedding weekend is now the wedding we will always refer to when answering this question. Mother nature was 100% not on our side for their wedding, but it is the perfect example of how beautiful everything comes together regardless of the weather.
An indoor ceremony may not have been Lindsey and Stephen’s first choice when it came to their wedding day vision but with the help of their vendor team and their family, a beautiful backdrop was created. Did we have to adjust their vision? Just a tad 😉 but the result was breathtaking. They were still able to say “i do!” in front of all of their family and friends and made memories that will last a lifetime.
But let’s talk about the details, because wow, unlike the weather, they did not disappoint! We are kind of obsessed with the modern moody vibe that Lindsey created. The black plates and chairs, the soft ceiling drapes, blush pink flowers and greenery scattered throughout the room. And the cutest little favors, coffee grinds in a little bag for each guest because who doesn’t love coffee?
The Barn has a variety of different photo options inside, and with Deanna Michele behind the lens, Lindsey and Stephen’s photos turned out incredible.
They were even able to sneak out while the rain was light to snag some outdoor photos.
We always tell our couples we have a plan A, B, and C when mother nature is acting up. And rain on your wedding day is supposed to be good luck, right? 😉
Lindsey and Stephen, thank you for your grace and good spirits. Your wedding day was magical and you were “showered” with so much love… literally.
